hotel staff friendly clean rooms good location good value for money would recommend to everyone
Great location, free parking and great value! Helpful and friendly receptionist.Comfortable bed and clean.
The shower was only luke warm and not very powerul.
The staff was very helpful and friendly all the time. The location of the hotel is more than great. The bathroom was clean. Soaps, paper tissues and other essential items in the bathroom were provided. No problem with the warm water supply. All in all, I would recommend this inn to anybody looking for a good place to stay for a few days in Dublin.
I always stay in the Dublin City Inn when I go to Dublin - its location is absolutely perfect - 5 mins walk to the Luas, 5 mins walk to O'Connell St, 2 mins walk to a taxi rank - surrounded by shops, cafes etc. It's great value for money, the staff are lovely, the breakfast is tasty & plentiful. While the hotel isn't the fanciest or the most glamorous I've ever stayed in it's clean, cosy and very comfortable. I've recommended it to my friends as the perfect hotel.
I honestly don't have any complaints about this hotel.
Convenience for city centre
Very noisy from street noise and other guests. Double room booked and twin given on arrival
Excellent Location. Parking brill for centre of city. Room small but fine. Expected more noise as my window faced street but minimal drunks.
WiFi is 3rd party provided and not great. Keeps logging you out and for those who like gambling/porn it employs a 'net-nanny' approach. Sheets were too small for the bed so I had to remake the bed each night to ensure the "gap" was by my feet rather than by my head. Parking was limited so you may or may not get a space!
Central location, near to airport bus drop, walking distance to main tourist spots. Staff helpful and booked an early morning taxi at good rate to the airport.
Hotel was comfortable ,very well located and the staff were friendly and approachable.
The Days Inn on Talbot Street is very central. So an ideal base for a shopping trip or for a concert visit to the O2 as the Luas is so close by.
the staff were wonderful and the whole experience was great. it was so handy for everywhere. a really great inner city hotel, without all the frills - just homely and relaxed
the staff were pleasant and well mannered, in a great location if travelling by train, only thing would be to decorate the inn is a tad run down, but still a pleasat stay.
Clean, cheap, excellent breakfast
Budget room in an excellent location. Expect noise as you are in the centre of the city. Rooms are tiny, showers even smaller. Bed is very hard, and parking is very limited. But location makes up for it all.
Good location to the city center of Dublin.
Misinformation provided by the evening concierge/front desk staff caused us to miss our ferry boat incurring additional expenses and major inconvenience. We were told not to take a taxi as the ferry boat launch was within walking distance. 6k walk with luggage is not within "walking distance".
We were very impressed how close we were to O'Connel Street. Which is one of the widest streets in Europe. Excellent for shopping and catching buses.
We were not impressed with the staff one evening, as when we were coming in they allowed a stranger in off the streets. Also they have an offer in hotel at pay 20 euro for taxi to airport this was not agreed with the taxi driver and we had to pay more.
